The service performed by TUV Italy for the companies of the sector covers all the aspects of the industrial production from the project approval to the inspection of the goods, from the process verification to the product compliance, from the qualifications of the staff to the certification and supervision of the plants, from risk assessment to reliability.
HI-CLEAN® FINISHING (PFAS FREE)
The HI-CLEAN® finishing (PFAS FREE) makes Tempotest® fabrics water repellent and oil cleanable, proof against rotting and immune to the formation of mould and fungus. Water stains are not absorbed by the highly repellent fabric and slide away without leaving a trace. The rain ifself, although rich in pollutants, slides off without leaving a mark and removes residues that have not adhered to the fabric thanks to the barrier obtained with HI-CLEAN® finishing. These properties are long-lasting and the exposure to the sun's rays helps to keep the special finish active.
ES-SDA EUROPEAN SOLAR SHADING DATABASE
To support the EU Qualicheck project that is designed to provide accurate data for construction products, the European Solar Shading Organisation (ES-SO) has developed a database of solar shading materials. This database includes independently validated performance data of blind fabrics, materials and complete products to European standards so comparison between blind types and materials is simple, secure and validated.

Parà is a proud member of “The Better Cotton Initiative/BCI”
The Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) is a global not-for-profit organization and the largest cotton sustainability program in the world. BCI exists to make global cotton production better for the people who produce it, better for the environment it grows in and better for the sector’s future. Through BCI and its Partners, farmers receive training on how to use water efficiently, care for the health of the soil and natural habitats, reduce use of the most harmful chemicals and apply decent work principles. BCI Farmers implementing this system are licensed to sell Better Cotton.
GRS (Global Recycled Standard)
Tempotest® Starlight blue is the first fabrics collection for sun protection made with Recycled PET GRS certified. The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) is promoted by Textile Exchange , one of the most important non-profit organizations that internationally promote responsible and sustainable development in the textile sector . With this standard, Textile Exchange recognizes the fundamental importance of recycling for the growth of a model of sustainable production and consumption; aims to encourage the reduction of resource consumption (virgin raw materials, water and energy) and to increase the quality of recycled products. The GRS provides for the issue of a third party verified environmental statement which proves the content of recycled materials of their products (both intermediate and finished) and compliance with environmental and social criteria in all of the production chain.
